New Comic news – Steak Night

On the 23rd November Records Records Records books will launch the first instalment of a new comic/zine called Steak Night. The publication edited by Babak Ganjei whose comic book Hilarious Conequences was released on the label last October intends to showcase comics and storytelling in whatever form with the proceeds going into produce and publish books as the artists works develop. The first issue contains new work by Babak, plus Antoine Cosse whose book Kiddo will be the next RRRr comic release, Jessica Penfold, Jackson Coley and a special short story written by Kele Okereke of Bloc Party, illustrated by Grace Wilson. The launch will be held at The Old Blue Last with Throwing Up, Paws, French Kissing and The Callas playing. People who attend and buy the zine here will automatically be drawn into a raffle to win a Steak dinner at the Hawksmoor in London.
